Sunday at Thompson Raceway Park

Another very hot (90+ degrees) Sunday at Thompson Raceway Park. We brought 6 serious racers to this party. Talking was done; it was time to go racing. The Mazda's (16's) had the BMW (17 flat) covered on this day for the Davis family bragging rights. A Hot Dog for the winner between the Camaro (16's)...

One More Time

OK, Memorial Day was too soon, maybe before the 4th of July.
I like your dual sensor idea, put them on a switch.
One problem at a time. Don't weaken.

Old Yellow Truck

Nice ride!! Judging by the photo history, you gotta be lovin' that truck.
That yellow does make it standout. The black flames set it off and the
rack is just right. I'd guess it's a strong cruiser not a racer,
but it might be fun to see what it can do in the quarter mile,
just for grins.

The last meet was not put together by BMR. With the poor marketing
and bad weather, the last swap meet was very disappointing.
There were only 4 vendors and one car in the car carrol.
BMR looks very professional. Check out their web site.

Nice hoist. Looks like your on your way. I'd remove the plugs, put some oil in the cylinders and turn the crank.
Can't wait to see the Olds 461 setting in the engine bay. :D

Another week and a little more progress. No windshield yet,
but the wiper motor and arms have been installed.
The new dash gauge panel has been inserted into the dashboard.

Saturday was lost attending a swap meet.

Just a reminder of where this hardware came from. The trophy front-end came from Spring Carlisle 2006. http://upload3.postimage.org/245273/Carlisle06Trophy.jpg http://upload3.postimage.org/245274/SomeCarlisle06Booty.jpg A pickup truck and station wagon full of booty, but the early Camaro front-end w...

Looks like it won't be long before we see this Camaro at TRP.
It definitely looks better as a 1970 than a 1977. Love that shifter.

Some things are harder than they look. Attaching the new front fender mouldings required removing the fenders. Added under the hood wiring harness. New door hinges were installed along the way. http://upload4.postimage.org/214941/NewFenderMouldings.jpg http://upload4.postimage.org/214942/NewDoorHing...

Rats, I got there too late to see and hear it, but the 283 Cu. In. 220HP Power Pack motor was run in and dynoed out at 214HP, very close to the advertised 220HP. Motor had been completely rebuilt from the beautiful 4 barrel carb to the hugger orange oil pan. The inner fenders are getting closer to i...
