Because it is electric, I would paint a picture of a wall outlet or maybe an old fashioned knife switch on the side with lightning bolts coming out of it or surrounding it. You really need to show the serious power you are dealing with in your paint job!!!

WXO ... I have several 3800 Buick engines. Recently, looking through the repair receipts that the previous owner ( Jerry Kerlin, he's nice ) gave me for my wife's LeSabre, I noticed that they ( a dealer ) used a sealant as a preventitive measure to keep the intake system from leaking. If you have ne...

That woodchuck did some nice work. Quite ironically, we just had a woodchuck incident at work, but it damaged nothing but the woodchuck. He apparently had cuddled up against a drive gear on one of our mini-excavators, which was sitting in the grass outside and in the sun. When we moved it, ( we didn...

Good idea on going with silver painted as opposed to chrome. Chrome looks so good when clean, but keeping them that way is a chore. If I could go back and do it again, I'd get the silver wheels, strictly from a maintenance stand point.

If the cameraman had the correct angle it really would ha...

The rub-out job looks great. It looks to me, from the pictures, that the vinyl trim is faded pretty bad. Duplicolor makes a great vinyl paint that works awesome and Krylon has a plastic paint that is sweet as well. We painted white vinyl seats on chairs at work with duplicolor black and they lasted ...

It has got to be a vacuum leak. Use starting fluid to find the problem. I would be surprised if the maf sensor went bad based on how the problem started. Just my opinion, good luck......

If you are trying to make it look good to sell, WD-40 willl make anything look good for a short amount of time. We use it at work all the time and it makes everything ( including paint, plastic, etc ) look like NEW!!!

How much compression do you need to lose? When I was working on my 307 olds heads, guys on forums were constantly complaining about head gaskets being too thick and loosing compression to them. Perhaps there is a mega thick gasket that would knock compression down enough to use the heads you have. ....
