Re: 2009 Shelby GT500 Convertible

It's been a long time since I posted on this car, and that's been great. The top almost never goes up during the summer, although with the spring we had, it took a long time before the top came down. On Saturday on my way home from working on the Vette I stopped and got gas in Chardon at Sheetz and ...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

The majority of yesterday's work was dedicated to getting the Lokar throttle cable in place. It took a solid two hours just to get it in place under the dash. Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

The Badger is right. But he's not accounting for my hatred of getting a new phone. I just hate the whole process. Ugh. I have the same hatred for new glasses, but I'm due for those too.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

Random pictures... Apparently I deleted the ones from under the car. I'll have to go old school and bring a camera over there since my phone has gotten that bad...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

So the exhaust is all back in place, the new fuel pump is also where it belongs. I am the proud owner of the aforementioned Holley Terminator X Max control system. We have also been working on getting the wiper setup to work with the LS. The problem is there is a vent elbow on the driver's rear of ...

Re: 1996 Collector Edition Corvette

I've seen much, much worse than that. I wouldn't sweat the look if it works to your satisfaction. If someone is looking in your car at it, say "what the hell you lookin' at??" Or they think you're just really into golfing...
When the car is parked, just put your driving glove on it, Laverne ...

Looks like your last few posts will dictate the direction for your repair. And if you just do it while looking in a mirror, it should be perfect!

Re: C6 Corvette

I always giggle when I see a 2.56 gear ratio on a modern car. That thing should be a 3.56 and it would still be able to do 150+ and cruise easily down the freeway.
