For those non-Hagerty readers out there, I found this article interesting. It's a good take on possessions vs memories courtesy of Jay Leno.

Why Tony Angelo left HRG...
I stumbled on this video about why Tony Angelo left HRG for real.
The first 15 minutes is background, and the last 15 minutes explains why.

That's an odd version of Monza I've never seen. IMO, it should be with higher powered cars. No chicanes AND banked turns? The MX5 would be a boring car to drive there. Looks like all drafting all the time. I only watched a couple laps, just to get the lay of the land.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
We got to work on the power steering cooler yesterday. A reasonably easy install except for some tight spots for clamps and hoses. I had a piece of galvanized angle steel laying around, and the holes in it lined up perfectly with the holes in the cooler. I got to use our "new" welder to we...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
The new gasket is installed on the tank and the fuel pump assembly is reinstalled and pumping fuel again. Time will tell if the sloshing problem has been resolved or not.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
Yesterday we worked on the gas tank fuel starvation issue and tried out my "new" welder. This is the welder I posted a little while back and decided that for the price it would be handy to have at Dad's place for whatever might arise. We hooked it up to make sure it was a functioning unit ...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
Yesterday's project was to replace the passenger door's outside weather seal. It came with the car and we did the driver's one last year sometime. Like the driver's side, it took a couple hours. At some point a mouse was living in there and ate a bunch of wire coating off the door lock wiring, but s...

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660
The Raptor got it's new wheel / tire combo installed yesterday. It's a much more streetable tire, really designed for hard packed dirt, but certified road worthy in Europe. They definitely transform the handling of this thing on dry pavement. It's like going from an 18:1 steering box to a 12:1. Turn...

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660
These are already LED lights all the way around. They look old school but... The license plate light I just gave up on. Even the small t-bracket for the license plate would get bent if it didn't have the plate on it. There's pretty much no way to use their design. So I mounted the plate nice and hig...

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660
Getting license plates turned out to be pretty easy. All I needed was the Certificate of Origin that came with the trailer and a copy of the receipt which I just printed from my email. Since it is non-commercial, it's simple that way. So I got my plate and am legal. When I assembled the trailer thou...

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660
It's a standard 5x4.5 and it did not come with it and the tire is pretty standard size I believe. I'll get one soon enough and then find a place to mount it.

Re: 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660
That's way too much color coordination for me! My "trailer" showed up on Friday in a giant box. My plan was to load it up in pieces into my truck and take it to dad's for assembly. As it turns out the main platform was just too cumbersome for me to load myself and I decided to just do it a...

Not sure of the condition of your fuel filter, but if it's unknown, it might be good time to change it too.
