You'll just have to take it out there a few more times to get some practice, and maybe some better weather conditions.

WXO ....... I had a buddy who had a new 96 z28 that ran 13.90's straight out of the box. I think yours should do better than that. An ls1 makes more suds than an lt1...... also, the vette's 1/8 mile on stock was 8.88 at 82.14 ... now at 8.72 @ 83.83 ... 60' time of 2.05 .. What I think you need to know ( if your car is like the vette ) is that car is just getting started at the 1/8. I finish the 1/4 at 13.34 104.5 mph... the worst part of the race is getting it started. Of course, I have a 2.73 rear end, which does a ton to pile on the top end speed. I can just about finish the 1/4 in 2nd gear!!

So it's easy, then. All I gotta do is work on getting started and the rest will take care of itself. :D
