Mini Project - Operation Lazy Man's Trailer Caddy

Post by Racin'Jacin »

OK- So the LAST thing I need right now is another project as I have BOTH trucks apart at the moment, but well a MINI PROJECT - always room to squeeze one of those in!
So while cruisin' HGR yesterday I stumbled across this cart pusher and well the wheels were moving so to speak so before long we were loading it into Stan's truck.

It didn't work so of course it was just CHEAP enough to grab.

Shortened up the mast about 6" and welded a plate for a trailer ball and viola I'm half way there! Some tinkering with the internals and we got it working!

Should make it much easier to move the trailer around!!!!!

Now back to the hillbilly rebuild for my Chevy truck motor and the "please let me figure the power steering out for the old Ford" winter project. Good times ahead!

I was there on Friday looking for deals. Since I've watched guys buy and sell for so many years, now that I'm not working there, I'm doing the same thing. That's a neat little piece, and they're big money when they work correctly. Nice find.
