I can't find a used trailer under $3,000 that isn't garbage.
This one is new, a touch under $4,000 out the door.
I did get the dealer to throw in a new spare tire for that hanger ( it was in the bed of my truck ).
It does shake a little when towing, I MAY look into getting the tires balanced, is that a thing for trailer tires ?

Man the girlfriend is upset though.
I told her my intention for using it, building materials.
I need 4x8 plywood, siding, railroad ties and such.
She says it's the wrong kind of trailer etc..... like she knows? Geez.

I know what you mean on used trailers. I've been looking a lot, $2500 would be a nice price point, but you're right. A lot of garbage.

Trailer tires arent much different than car tires, why wouldn't they need to be balanced?

Hey Matt,

I’ve been around equipment trailers forever in rental fleet and never once have we
balanced a trailer tire. I can tell you that on our semi tractors they dump beads in
the tires which acts as a self-balancing material somehow. I would be looking for a
broken belt in the tires and making sure that you have the tongue weight correct
and the proper level on the deck as potential issues.

@GMJohnny - trailer was unloaded. I'll let you know what I find, if anything.

What do you guys think about this?

I'd have to convert from pintle hook to a hitch thing on the front.

I like the price point and the idea it was maintained by a company.. and low fenders.

If you’re going to use it for car hauling, I’d be concerned that
the car won’t clear the dovetail on the back of the trailer.
I’d also be concerned that the gate won’t support the weight
of a vehicle.

The dovetail looks a lot like mine so it will work. Main thing is to get the front of the trailer up high enough, also I've used ramp extenders to get cars with lower ground clearance on there.

Also the gate looks like mine so I'm more comfortable it will support a car. It will be quite heavy, and it will be a huge wind drag going down the road. Separate ramps, or better yet separate ramps that slide into the trailer, would be better.

The lower sides is really nice, the deck looks pretty good.

I can get measurements off mine for reference if you want
