Thinking of selling

Post by Maverick »

I seem to have lost interest in my hobby vehicles and am thinking about selling one or both. Anyone interested in either the Lincoln or El Camino? Lots of info on them in the project threads. I have well over $10K in each and would take $8500 for either.

Well that stinks. You were more active here than most of us and its fun to read your updates. Hopefully it's just a phase...

It would be good if interest picked up since its been getting me off the couch for several years. But, after taking a break for weeks its still easier to get going on yard work :( than wrenching. I seem to recycle hobbies on 5 year intervals.

TS.org and the trips to Carlisle have make it all a lot more fun.

Maybe just put a cover on one and put it in the corner for a few months. Sometimes a break is good. It's not like there is a deadline

Maybe.

After thinking about it, some more, the El Camino should be worth $7000 with the Blueprint 383.

WXO put a really nice CR ad together for the EC. https://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/d/81 ... 50212.html

I'll see if there are any takers in it's current condition. If it doesn't sell as it is, we'll probably do some paint bubbles clean up, treatment, and touch up. A can of the current paint came with it. Might be usable.

A potential buyer and I agreed on an as is price. 29 year-old guy is buying it for his father.

Plan is to deliver it to him South of Raleigh on Saturday. I'll take the CL post down when the deal is done.

Best of luck! It always makes me nervous until the deal is 100% complete.
