Well I lost my second hubcap on this Silverado. The first one "fell off" while parked at the Great Geauga County Fair.
This last one was "lost" at the Berkshire football game or at Kohl's in Mayfield. What to do?

Just tried to make them a little unique. When you see one on a grey truck you'll know where he "found" it.

Its too bad you can't park a nice vehicle in a public lot without a concern someone will steal it, key it, steal something off it, make a door ding, crash a shopping cart into it, ...

I'd drive the Maverick more if I wasn't worried about that stuff. You could buy two replacement caps and hope "the third time is a charm."

You could put electronic sensors on them with plastic explosives inside, and when they get more than 150 ft from your truck, the plastic centers blow up, thus rendering the criminal immobile.

Haven't done much with the Chevy but drive it to the Casinos in the winter. But then BP and I were at Summit on Wednesday so he could purchase tires for the Supercharged S10. Looking through the “Scratch & Dent”, BP found a Borla Exhaust for my truck. 60% off. This Saturday we took his S10 for its’ new large duel exhaust system. After we left it for its’ new system, we went for breakfast with Smoke and his Dad. Then on to “Smoke’s Garage”. Two hours later the new Borla System was on. Thanks to Smoke and BP. Serious fun! It’s not any louder than stock unless you ask for it to go.

Discount.....................................Borla Hat.........................................Me

By the way, BP's little truck looks really sweet from behind, a view that will be seen by many.

Just added, thanks BP for the picture.

Except for a couple broken bolts that we expected to break, this was about as easy as it gets. It was a nice fit, looks great, and sounds sweet. And compared to the bent up tailpipe stock system, this should flow a LOT better at the track. We'll find out Wednesday for the last Grudge Night of the season. So if it ran a best of 16.17 last Wed, I'm guessing consistently in the 15's with over a 2mph improvement.

If it's not any faster, it sure looks cool, and fits the rest of the truck perfectly, and it's not too loud to upset my mother either... Win - Win.

I'm sitting here wondering why my shoulders hurt because I really didn't work THAT hard on this job. Then I remembered the tug of war with the 80 lb dog that wouldn't relent... Holley is a great dog and she was happy to help us out by entertaining us the whole time.

I got to play the role of photographer today.. But somehow, I neglected to snap a picture of the finished product. Maybe we were in too much of a hurry to lower it down and see how it sounds..

Last night Fred32v and I took a 2 hour one-way trip to Falconer New York to
pick up a Kubota tractor I'm going to use at my new place this year. We got
a pretty sweet deal on the tractor and got to put the Silverado to the test. It
handled the load of 3500 lbs. total with no issue at all and we were able to
cruise comfortably at 70 mph. The fuel economy was compromised a bit by
the load and we were sweating out the last 60 miles wondering if 27 gallons of
fuel was really going to make it the 255 mile round trip! Turns out we made it
with 4 gallons to spare and we did the whole trip purchase and all in 10 minutes
less than 5 hours.... Not exactly tire smoke but cool nonetheless!!!
