1995 Dodge Ram 4x4 Sport

Post by ttamrettus »

I will be working on the house and the yard this summer so I really needed a truck. Here is what I ended up with. I will take some more pictures and post them shortly. As a GA truck it has 0 rust.

Welcome to the dark side. It's amazing how Dodge has been able to carry the same theme for so long on it's trucks. It looked great then and still looks good now.

Well the truck has a remanufactured Aamco transmission in it now. I have put about 100 miles on it. Seems to work fine. Another week or two and it's back to Aamco for a once over. I went this route mainly for the 50,000 3/year warranty, nationwide. If I went the cheaper rebuilt route if something happened out of the area that Aamco would have to call my Aamco and work out a deal between franchises. With the Aamco corporate rebuilt it's straight up fixed regardless.

Next is to save up a little $ for a new dash panel. $250 at LMC truck.

So the Ram has been sold. My brother called me asking me if I wanted to sell it to him and I said sure. So it is now in Ohio ready to do plow duty this winter.

It towed a wrecked 1989 325i convertible from Greenville SC to my house. Plus various trips to Home Depot. It was nice having a truck.

Sell the truck ? A. My brother wanted it. B. It turns out Alex's mom's ex-boyfriend had one so it held bad memories for him.

Makes sense. Are you in the hunt for another truck now that you sold another one?

You mean like a 2005 RAM that's also red and good for hauling stuff, hauling trailers, and hauling ass?? Also zero rust ;) Could be hand delivered.
