Seems like there's already a few of us planning to go. Just figured I'd post it for anyone else interested.

Just another typical fun Wednesday night at TRP. The weather was in the 80’s,
not weather that would give you your best number, but still OK to race.
"OH YEAH!" ready to go.

This says it all!
This says it all!
The best run for “OH YEAH” was in the second round of Truck Eliminator,
it was 15.28 @ 89.95, on a 15.31 Dial, not as bad a loss as a RED. ‘Smoke looked
great in his first-round Stock Eliminator matchup against a Mustang;
well until he let up too early. Then there was BP who was in the tree and on his
numbers all night long in Stock Eliminator until the finals against a Mustang.
It was a little tight and the Ford was .01 too fast. When it’s right it’s right.

No getting away from it, when you can drive to TRP, race, and drive home
(without changing slicks and bolting up the headers) that’s serious fun!

As always, you can’t beat a Wednesday Night at TRP for a good time!!!

Definitely a fun trip. I've been fighting the red lights all year and have really focused my efforts on NOT having that happen this week. There were six rounds of action total and I pulled the high card in the semi-finals to get the bye run into the finals. The final round was pretty ugly in that we both had our worst lights of the night, my .11 to his .12 and I spun the tires off the line which it hadn't done all night. I did my best to catch him and put a little heat on and apparently it paid off with his breakout.

I think I'm going to take a couple weeks off and when I go back, I'll try to run Animal class with the faster cars. There's less cars but probably tougher competition. I'm just happy to be going rounds and coming home in one piece. This is my first win in two years since the Tubstang at the GM vs Ford race and I think the first win ever with the S10. It was never consistent with the V6, and probably some of that was my fault trying to cool it down all the time. Now I warm it up so its on the thermostat at every pass and it's really consistent.

I'm having the most fun car summer with this truck than I've had in a LONG time. I have about 4k miles on it since the install and love driving it every time.
