Kurt is going to be doing this with his high school team this Saturday at the I-X Center. Practice sessions have been on an engine that a teammate had and the parts come apart much slower. So far they are in the 50 minute range. I showed him this yesterday he learned some things so it will be interesting to see how they do. First time Wadsworth High School is competing in this challenge. Kurt said 33 minutes will get them to qualify for state competition.

Good luck to him and his team. I spent more than 33 minutes looking for the 7th and 8th header bolts.

I need the guy that manages tools and parts. :D

It's $10 to park and $20 to get in.
Wadsworth is scheduled at noon and 4:00 pm.

Results don't really matter here, but this has GOT TO BE FUN!!!

Good Luck Kurt!

Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge.
OK, I've watched my grandchildren play football, basketball, and baseball,
this was my first Engine Challenge. Kurt is on the Wadsworth HS team.

After 61.5 minutes, job done. They have a way to go but you have to start somewhere.

Congrats on their first attempt!
