Watched the whole thing. Believe that a Deuce and a Half as the 2 1/2 ton 6X6 truck were called. In the Artillery the were used for troop carriers and towing Howitzers, water trucks or whatever needed to be towed. The be of the truck would be 4 or so feet off the ground with canvas cover. Cab had a canvas top.

Every time I think of one I remember the guy that jumped out of the back, hung his wedding ring on the side, and peeled his finger like a banana.
