The meal allowance was taken from the expense report I use here at PCC. The max allowance for meals is $100/day. But re-thinking the meal finances, here's my thoughts. Some hotels offer a continental breakfast = free. Lunch will probably have to be on-the-road = fast food. Dinner should be a sit-dow...

Have you ever heard this line - "Real race cars, have three pedals"? My thoughts - for the street, a stick is cool, but for consistency, and ease of operation down the track, I'll take an automatic. Not to contradict myself, If I EVER make it to Carlisle, a clutch pedal assembly (small bra...

It would take a serious internal engine, or drive train failure, to justify a tow home. The spare parts listed would be easy on-the-road fixes. As for the 150lbs of parts, I'd carry that in a heartbeat.

Now, for the wife, "Honey, I have a vacation idea....."
It would never fly. :?

As I'm sitting here, fantasizing about this five state, five tracks, Dragracing event, I'm trying to figure out the finances that would be required. If like 2005, starting in Kansas, and finishing up in Maryland, Ohio is about in the middle. And the third stop is in Columbus. Figuring two days to ge...

I stopped in yesterday, and was a bit overwhelmed. This is a huge whorehouse, with everything (including the proverbial kitchen sink) available. I could spend the better part of a day, just wondering around. I even saw car parts - a front or rear independent suspension assembly. Couldn't tell what i...

I'll be there Sunday, afternoon-evening.

A big thanks goes to my friendly neighborhood Dodge dealer, for two complementary tickets..... It seams that ever since I bought my Dodge Ram, every year I've gotten free tickets. Nice

Might I suggest a larger 'trailer'! Possibly tandem axles!!! Now THAT would be cool.
How about corner hooks to accommodate tie-downs. And the red color has to go.... how about '69 Caddy green?

Just my $.02

WOW, It looks to be in really good shape!!

Not to be picky.... the exhaust manifolds are not 'period correct'. For '64, I'm sure the 'Rams Horn' design was used.

February 1st The Nova is at a standstill. Y'all have heard that before, right? I got involved with a bathroom upgrade at home. It first started out as just a re-paint. Then new window and shower curtains. Then the vanity got painted. THEN, a new floor.... To do the floor, the toilet had to come out....

Hummmmmmm.
It's different! And I think it's an improvement.

Way to go Dave :D

Although, the Radiation symbol could be different. Kinda has a devilish symbolism to it.

Just IMO......

Well, I'm not selling the farm to go out an buy one either. But admittedly, it is growing on me. The similarities are there, but not like the Mustang. The engine compartment looks so clean and uncluttered, except for the '80s master cylinder and booster. Billet strut brace? Hummmm. The Dodge boys ha...
