I think I was predicting it would be out by four or five. Walt - you must have been bust prepping in the AM.
The video and pictures are cool.

Re: 1994 Camaro
Neither fog light works, but one of them is physically broken, the other probably just a bulb. I can't understand how these always get broken. Mine were like that too - new bulbs and replacement lenses I put on 5 years ago are not broken and still working. Mine even survived a fender cracker (it wo...

Two hours + $85 + parts = about $320 per axle depending on the car. One of my coworkers just got her brakes done on an LHS at the Firestone store and it was a little less than $250 per axle. Getting parts at Autozome would have cost less than half of that - even buying the premium ceramic pads. It ...

Need a part
Thought we should have a thread for locating parts. Right now I am looking for a 5 speed to go behind my 3.4 V6 in my 95 Camaro. I foolishly let one go on ebay for $150 before I knew that mine was more than that to repair, so I guess I am looking for one in that range. Junkyards are a waste of time ...

The car is back on the road. A small piece of metal had broken off the clutch disc on the outside edge of one of the springs, and was apparently dragging on the pressure plate. Too bad I did not look close enuogh the first time. So I replaced the clutch and pressure plate and the problem is fixed. I...

This project has been on hold. I had the car on jacks and was ready to start disassembly when the Camaro tranny started its problems. I plan to change the u-joints on the halfshafts first. The clunking is deifintely the halfshaft hitting the yoke on the center section. I am guessing these u-joints a...

Re: Qualifying projects?
I went to 3 auto parts stores and NOT 1 had the pads. AutoZone, Ace Auto Parts, and Advance Auto Parts. I finally ordered them online from AutoZone. I guarantee that if she owned a Malibu the parts would be in stock. But it is nice to be able to order the parts online. Autozone had a master cylinde...

Well I replaced the throwout bearing as the old one looked real worn out. Put it all back together and it was a little better but the clutch still does not disengage all the way. The hydraulic clutch reservoir was almost full so I can't believe it is leaking. Either my clutch fork is bent, the "...
