Re: Big Bore vs Big Stroke?

Not necessarily... the fun part is, if you have the same displacement but a longer stroke, the air has further to move to fill the cylinder because the distance to the farthest reaches of the chamber are longer. Wanted: Shop space rent/share in Cleveland area

Hi, it's Pete... remember me? My motorsports aspirations have outgrown the shop access I've had at work. Re: F1 FAIL!

I remember reading about this somewhere... The story at the time was that one corner had a failure, and the additional loading on the other corner caused it to fail as well. Things like that make me laugh when people talk about "FORMULA ONE TECHNOLOGY!". They design everything to be just s...

OK, this is interesting.... http://www.streetfire.net/video/crazy-tire-explosion_735628.htm Wonder what the date code is on that tire??? How fast do you think the trans was going? It sounded like he had it up in 3rd gear. Mind you, however fast the trans was going, the right tire was going ...

This defines "that blowed up real good". Engine disassembly without tools.

Watch the full video, the carnage from the engine bay is spectacular.

The most fun roads locally follow rivers. Twisty, curvy, and hilly. The truckers like to fly through at 60mph (posted 45-55) and deer kind of hang out near rivers. It's not uncommon to see half a deer, then 1/8mi up the road, the other half. (Blech) Thinking about things like that make me reconsider...

I was in high school as well. Oddly enough hearing the music on MTV inspired me to buy the first three albums. Then I stopped liking the "new" stuff 8) The problem, of course, is that Cliff up and died. He was responsible for a lot of the "polish" on their second and third albums...

Ah, didn't realize you were not new to Saturn ownership.

Just got an SL2 in today. No oil leaks and there was 3/4 quart of oil in the engine, including oil filter. For some reason the oil light kept coming on :) We're going to do the run-rite to it and see how it does for oil consumption.
