Re: 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible
I should have the GTO back in a couple weeks. Needed suspension overhaul, brakes adjusted, carb adjusted, and rear main seal replaced. They are putting together a shopping list for Carlisle too :) Need new canisters for hideaway headlights, for example. That should be it on mechanics. I’ll shop arou...

Re: 2004 SRT-10 Regular Cab
The truck is sporting a new set of tires and quite happy with them - Toyo Proxes ST3 with silica compound. Nice and sticky with no road noise. Also replaced the stereo system with a Pioneer head unit with CarPlay and JL Audio speakers and amp. It sounds amazing and ready to road trip to Carlisle. An...

Re: Spring Carlisle 2018
Being that it's my first one, I wanted to get a sense of how things work. Do most vendors take credit card or PayPal these days? Or do I show up with bunch of cash stashed in room safe? Should I make a list of things I'm looking for to share with others, assuming we split up a bit. I'm 95% sure I am...

Re: 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible
Yeah, he upgraded to disc brakes. Stainless exhaust. Stainless gas tank. Small side projects list are replace glove box door and put in stealth Bluetooth amp and upgrade dash speaker. AM radio is quirky, not sure if I care enough to get it fixed for now. I’ll add a video clip next weekend but yeah s...

Re: 1969 Pontiac GTO convertible
Guess I hit max pics. Originally cream color with white top. Trying to confirm red color. Maybe matador red but that looks darker on internet search. Has a service replacement motor from GM, so numbers don’t match but guess that was common.

Re: Spring Carlisle 2018
I got revised marching orders from Fred. Switched to the Residence Inn. I have three suites, each has king bed and a sofa bed. I couldn’t use points this far out but locked in at $200 a night.

Re: Spring Carlisle 2018
Yes, I am thinking about finally making it! I also have a ton of hotel points, so I could look into that. I’m guesssing the Fairfield since I’m Marriott. Don’t need much for the truck, but I will have a new ride soon to replace the other SRT-10. Something more relevant to this forum. I’ll provide de...

Re: 2004 SRT-10 Regular Cab
Got my truck back Friday night and it’s dialed in perfect! Power is super linear and easy to control @ 592 rwhp and estimated 650 ftlbs (dyno was being quirky on torque readings). Upgraded spec 2 clutch is an improvement too for easy shifting over stock. Upgraded the brakes to match the power. It’s ...

Re: 2004 SRT-10 Regular Cab
Hopefully she will be home this week. She was on the dyno this week and hit 600 rwhp on 6 psi. Waiting for torque numbers but should be 650-700. That’s as far as I can go on stock internals. Full details and pic later.

And this is officially sold. Guy near Savannah wanted a twin to his red Viper. That’ll help pay for the other trucks work and tonneau cover. And likely a sound system upgrade.
