I probably won't race this one, it's not fast. It's got 175hp and 185 lbs of torque and it weighs over 4000 lbs... = high 17's. It's nothing but an investment. I'll send Andy a picture to post a link to. Great news today, basically we all just got a significant pay cut here at work. :( Awesome. -BP

Done deal. I'm now the owner of a nice 1995 Honda Passport, which I'm intending to sell quickly once I do a couple little things...

There's a guy at my work, Ted, that I'm helping with his cam swap on his '71 Vette. He has a 1995 Honda Passport that he's looking to trade me for my F150 and $500 from me.
It's got 115k and is in good shape (no rust). If his wife will let him, the deal should be done this week.

The Saturn is the Ecotec motor, but no way it's slower than 17.50s. And the Mopar ran 16.8's Andy, I think that's faster than your Lumina and Mark didn't even take out his spare tire.... And I don't think the Beretta would be any faster than 16.6's... How about some hadicaps for the Beretta, like a ...

I think Dave is making fun of how slow your Lumina is. I'd make him prove it to you heads up.

I think the Lumina / Dodge Ram / Beretta should all go heads up in a Cheeseburger triangle...

Heads Up Racing...

Ok, so I got spanked by the Dodge, but I'm thinking we should set up a few more Cheeseburger Challenges over the next couple months as prime racing weather approaches... For instance: Amy's Saturn vs. Colleen's Van S-10 vs. 442 El Dorado vs. Roadmaster Wagon Beretta vs. Lumina Feel free to add to th...

:( Ford = Loser Mopar = Winner Mark's predictions were pretty much right on the money with the Dodge pulling an unexpected 16.86 out of his hat and the F-150 ending up with a low 17.3 pass. We were rained out after three passes, but there was no way I was getting .3 faster without NOS or maybe the b...

There's a chance that I'll have to concede the cheeseburger trophy by way of forfeit. Without searching for a buyer, I have a guy (friend of my brother in law) coming to look at the F150 tomorrow. So if I sell it, I'll owe Mark a cheeseburger. But since I'll have a pocket full of money, I won't mind...

The way I see it, you'll be running 17.0's to my 16.8's...

I like mine with lots of ketchup...

I think the 14th would be better. With work so busy, I haven't had time to prepare the truck yet. Heck, I haven't even changed the oil yet, let alone tune it at all.

The 14th seem ok?

A set of used springs should be about $180. Hopefully I only need to buy one used springs and just put leafs where I need them. Then maybe I can get away with around $100 or so.

Bailis and I just bet that his truck is faster than this one. I can't wait to eat my free cheeseburger...

F-150

 I'm going the way of the darkside again and buying a Ford truck. It's an F-150 with a regular cab, short bed, and 2wd. It's got a 5.0 with an auto trans, and nice alloy wheels. It's an XLT so it's got windows/locks/cruise/cassette. It's also got a nice two tone black & gray metallic paint....
