It's nice to have the fan override if you want it, but I doubt you will need it while you are on track. One thing about going fast is there is a lot of air flow. The only time I've found it handy is if you want to cool it down faster at the end of the session after you stop moving.

What are you planning to do with this car? Drive it daily?

Had some drama obtaining the proper cam cover gaskets. If you need to buy GM parts I would suggest avoiding GMpartsgiant.com. No one sells all the gaskets you need in a kit. Aftermarket kits all seem to be missing the seal for the vacuum pump. Looking at the pieces it seemed like the prices piecemea...
