December 7 The trans cooler plumbing is now on 'Plan B'. Still working on how I want to run the lines thru the core support. I'm gona attempt to 'hard line' the cooler. We'll see what my tube bending abilities are! Also, the trans filler tube has always been an issue with this car. The bends in the...

Injection is nice, but...

... I'd rather be blown. And I am, again. Thanks to Paul, I bought vehicle #4 from Classic -- a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP -- black, 4dr, 72k miles, chrome wheels, a/c, cruise, tilt, cassette w/EQ, power seats, aftermarket moonroof. It needed some exhaust work, and the driver's door window seems to...

poker party?

Is the annual poker party still planned for this year?

Christmas Eve is on Saturday. This might goof things up?

Tiresmoke.org's existance was Mark's idea, not just the hats.

Walt, now that you've gotten the engine and trans in, the clutch is working .. what's next? How soon till it can be taken down the road?

Not sure about December. I'm anxious to re-do the wiring, and fix all my fuel-tank related problems (add sump/baffle. fix gas gauge, quieter mounting for fuel pump). I made 11 passes without any serious issues (or even minor ones, really) plus the trip there and back. I might just end the season on ...

November 20th, Dragway 42 results

I went out to Dragway 42 today. Armed with my new 42 lb/hr injectors, I came hoping to find my lost ET and MPH. The weather was perfect. Could've been a little cooler, even. I got in 11 passes, and could've easily taken more. It's the first time in a long time it's cost less than $1 per pass! ($10 e...

Matt, I'm a big fan of Canon cameras -- I'm on my second one, a Powershot S-30. It's a 3 megapixel camera, 3x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom. The feature to pay for in a digital camera, IMO, is the zoom lens. One of the other main considerations is the battery -- is it a oddball battery, or does it ...

Why wait till spring? Tomorrow (11-19) is supposed to be 50 degrees and no rain. I'm planning on heading to Dragway 42.

Glad to see you made it up here Matt.

Hahaha.. I was getting a little chuckle from the other pic of Andy's car, and then Paul's, only to scroll down and see mine on The Flatbed.

But I still have a 12-second timeslip from 2005. 8)

sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY! (dragway 42)

Me and my 42 lb injectors are headed down this sunday to reclaim my rightful place deep in the 12s. Anyone else? I know Paul mentioned it in his Project thread..

Just another update.. a few days after I posted my 'bug-free' post, I had another failure -- this time a power wire through the firewall shorted out and blew a fusible link in the harness. This was 'legacy' wiring that I did years ago and didn't properly grommet. I completely re-did this section of ...
